7 Free Social Media Marketing Courses

London Creative Designs is very much a teaching digital agency in London and so we’re always trying to find resources to help our staff and students. Our blog is full of useful tips and tricks to help you improve your design and development skills, plus get the most out of digital marketing. We just love to teach!

We run digital training workshops which cover courses like Introduction to WordPress, Introduction to Photoshop and Social Media for Business.

However, if you’re unable to come to one of our courses, don’t worry, as we’ve compiled a list of great free social media online courses that you can do in your spare time! They all cover slightly different things, so by enrolling in all of these social media marketing courses, you can cover a wide range of social media marketing skills and be well equipped to promote your business!

OK, so we’re starting with one that’s not exactly a course but is in fact a series of YouTube videos. These webinars are full of the latest information and up-to-date tricks in social media marketing. Topics for the social media webinars include how to do PR on social media and how to run Facebook & Instagram marketing campaigns.

Just like Buffer, Hootsuite is one of the leading social media management platforms out there. We use Hootsuite to manage all our social media accounts, including our client accounts. We believe that it’s the most comprehensive and professional of all the social media management platforms.

Hootsuite Academy offers social media training and courses at various levels. You can access free social media courses as well as paid ones.

  1. HubSpot Academy’s Free Social Media Certification

HubSpot is one of the leading marketing software companies out there. They offer a fantastic free CRM to help you get started, plus an insane amount of useful marketing resources. We visit the HubSpot website on a regular basis!

HubSpot Academy offers a free online Social Media Certification which consists of eight lessons. Topics cover how to devise a social media and content strategy, plus how to moderate your social media channels.

  1. edX’s Social Media Marketing Course

edX is a quality MOOC provider – it offers courses from some of the world’s top institutions. You will find courses from Ivy League universities such as MIT and Harvard! Courses are all taught online and you can pick the one that’s right for you.

Did you realise that Facebook has its own training and certification program? Most people know about Facebook and probably use it for social reasons but are unaware of just how powerful it is for business.
